I was made to watch [The A documentary by Adam Curtis, who does some pretty great documentaries. That one was very good and I would recommend pretty much anything by him even if they are not related to what you're looking for. is just something ive found. I think I've seen it before.

This kind of comes out in this post, but the way I always look at the "I'll do it myself" argument is in terms of time. If you have a product that people known is easy to use (more on that in a second), you just say, look a license costs $100/yr or you could do this yourself and spend 10+ hours working through all the issues I've already solved. So if your time is worth $10/hr, go for it, otherwise I'm saving you a lot of your valuable time. The only wrinkle to this is that you have convince people that your product actually does make their life easier/save them time. If they think they'll end up spending a lot of time understanding how to use it and integrating it, that's when people say, not worth it. For instance, you could be selling an awesome jQuery table plugin, but if it doesn't support some feature I need (say, a find as you type search box), I'm probably not going to use it because the time to build that feature onto your plugin might be longer than building my own.

I dunno but if it dosn't say it on the package then i guesss not. But if u do and u nvr shaved there before which i am thinking u havn't.....defiently use a thick layer shaving cream and soap AFTER u washed there and the pores have opened by using really warm water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It may sting and be sensitive after shaving there if u nvr done it so u should wait a day before applying that cream so that it won't cause stinging or even a rash!
Sometime sppl's underarms are darker than other skin, this also can include the knees and elbows...it depends for everyone.

I bought this, along with the Proraso shave cream. Both are very good products. Smells are great and the lubrication is great. My only recommendation would be to use plenty of water and have a brush on hand to re-lather. If you take a long time to shave, the pre-shave cream combined with the shave cream might get a little dry. This might happen with any product, but it has happened a few times with me. Once re-wet or re-lathered, you are back to the superior smell, feel, and lubrication of this great combination. Using this as a post-shave cream has definitely made me itch less, and have less redness on the neck. Just rinse off, apply the cream, and blot softly with towel. Very clean scent. I use this with a Merkur safety razor.

I heard good things about this product, so thought I'd give it a try. It's definitely an effective pre-shave: lubricates nicely, helps prep your beard and the menthol/eucalyptus is a great wake-up. Still, the very first time I opened this tiny, expensive little jar, I immediately thought "Noxzema!" Honestly, it looks, smells, feels and performs exactly like that old-school product that probably already lurks under your sink in a giant blue jar. I now alternate between the two products, and can see absolutely no difference in their performance.

So yeah, this is my first and last jar of Proraso. At $9-12 for a tiny little jar vs $5 for an enormous vat of Noxzema, it's an easy decision.

My husband recently started using a straight razor to shave. He tried several different creams, and the Proraso Pre Shaving Cream was the one he found that worked best for him. He said that it softens his beard and opens his pores at the same time. It's got Eucalyptus which cools the face while at the same time the Menthol heats the face to open the pores. The Proraso Pre Shaving Cream is also good because it's not oily. If you have to wipe a spot off with your hand it does not leave an oily residue.
As of yet there are no drawbacks to the Proraso Pre Shaving Cream.

This stuff, along with "Proraso Shaving Soap Aloe and Green Tea" and my Gillette Fusion razor is literally the closest, smoothest and best shave I've ever had in my entire life. I used to use Nair on my neck 20 years ago when I was camping in the woods for two weeks. I can't remember if that left me feeling as smooth as this combination or not. There really is nothing else that comes close. I will never go back to shaving foam or gel in a can ever again. I find myself stroking my face way to often in disbelief of how smooth my face feels. Boyishly smooth! I once saw a Beatle Baily cartoon strip of Sarge shaving with a sanding disc on a power grinder. That's me. There was a time where I could shave once in the morning to go to work and a second time in the evening to go out. No more. I used to have 5 o'clock shadow by early afternoon. With the combination I described above I don't get it until the next morning.

I've also tried the Proraso pre-shave cream and shaving cream with a Panasonic wet/dry shaver. The shaver works better than without it but I still get 5 o'clock shadow with it.

I have not tried the pre-shave cream as an after-shave. The instructions on the can say to do so. I'm a big fan of [...] after-shave balms. I haven't used after-shave in years but I just love the smoothness and lack of irritation I get when using the balms along with this cream and the Proraso shaving soap.

I will agree with another reviewer who said Proraso soap is better than the cream. The cream is still better than anything in a can.

I gave his product only 4 stars instead of 5, despite the amazing, close and super smooth shave becuase when I put it on it feels like the surface temperature of my face drops 15 degrees. I like a hot shower, not stuff that makes my face feel cold. That said, until someone invents something that can give me as smooth a shave as this stuff, I'll be using it for years to come. Thanks, Proraso!
